Protein is an essential nutrient for a human body. Protein is made up of amino acids, commonly known as building blocks, because they are attached in long chains. It is also considered a “macronutrient,” meaning that you need relatively large amounts of it to stay healthy. One must consume protein in a sufficient amount.
Why a human body needs protein?
#1 It builds and repairs muscles, not only muscles but bones, cartilage, skin, hair, etc.
#2 Protein regulate hormone production in a human body.
#3 Helps in building lean muscles and maintaining healthy weight.
#4 Aren't these reasons enough to take your protein huh? 😐
Here we go:-
1.Chicken:- easy to find, easy to cook, and contains about 21 gms of protein per 100 gms of whole chicken. Its a complete source of protein cause it is derived directly from animal and animal proteins are complete in amino chains. Boil it , fry it, toss it do whatever with it.
2.Eggs:- easily available in any place of the world. takes about 5 mins max to cook a yummy dish out of it. A medium sized egg consists of 5-6 gms of protein. Hens (hence, lol!) its a animal derived product it is also a complete source of protein.
3.Fish:- not every one cooks fish in their kitchens but it contains a good amount of protein approx 17 gms protein per 100 gms (Rohu fish- Indian Salmon).
4.Soya:- it is one of the highest protein per 100gms consisting food among all the listed food but the twist is it is a vegetarian source of protein and has a incomplete amino profile. 100 gms of soya consists 50-52 gms of protein.
5.Paneer:- great source of protein derived from milk. Has complete amino profile. Consists 20gms of protein per 100 gms.
6.Milk
7.Yoghurt
